Autonomous delivery robot built for ECSE 211 at McGill University.
An autonomous mail delivery robot that
can navigate a simulated campus environment, identify delivery zones using
color recognition, avoid restricted areas, and return to base after completing
all deliveries. The robot is evaluated based on its navigation accuracy,
decision logic, and mission efficiency.
-
Built a BrickPi robot controlled by Python scripts to autonomously deliver items to different locations
-
Designed 10+ iterations of the robot's hardware subsystems while keeping detailed documentation of the progress
-
Obtained a 100% perfect score on the final challenge, as a team of 7, by designing
and executing all hardware and integration tests to ensure that robot behaviour correctly
meets requirements
