Simple Operating System

An operating system with a demand-paged memory manager supporting simple Shell commands, multi-threading, page faults handling, and process management according to different scheduling policies.

This project was done in the context of the ECSE 427 - Operating Systems course at McGill University.

  • Accurate LRU policy for demand paging
  • FCFS, SJF, RR and AGING scheduling policies
  • Background process execution
  • Multithreaded process execution
